Fall 2024 TV Show Lineups
ABC’s Fall 2024 Lineup: A Mix of New and Familiar
Grey’s Anatomy is staying put on Thursday nights, but with a twist. The long-running medical drama is moving to a new time slot, making way for a fresh face in its previous spot.
Ryan Murphy’s Doctor Odyssey is set to premiere on Thursdays at 9/8c, following the first responder hit, 9-1-1. This new medical drama stars Joshua Jackson as a doctor on a luxury cruise ship.

CBS Fall 2024 Lineup: A Familiar Yet Fresh Approach
CBS is taking a strategic approach to its fall 2024 schedule, delaying its premiere week to October 13th. This gives the network more time to build anticipation and potentially capitalize on post-Super Bowl momentum.
The network’s cornerstone series remain intact. The popular NCIS franchise dominates Mondays, with the original series paired with the new prequel, NCIS: Origins. Tuesdays feature the FBI trio: FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International. And Survivor continues its reign on Wednesdays.
Thursday nights see a shift with the end of Young Sheldon. Its spin-off, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, fills the 8/7c slot, followed by the return of Ghosts and the highly anticipated new series, Matlock, starring Kathy Bates.
Sundays feature a revamped lineup. Tracker moves to the 8/7c slot, leading into The Equalizer. The new Sherlock Holmes spin-off, Watson, joins the lineup midseason.

Fox’s Fall 2024 Lineup: A Mix of Thrills and Laughs
Fox is bringing the drama and excitement this fall with a lineup that blends established favorites with fresh new shows.
Thrill-seekers will have plenty to watch. The network is doubling down on high-stakes action with 9-1-1: Lone Star returning for another season. Joining it is the new series Rescue: HI-Surf, which follows the daring lives of lifeguards on Oahu’s North Shore. Both shows will air back-to-back on Monday nights, starting September 23rd.
For fans of mystery, Murder in a Small Town arrives on Tuesdays, September 24th. This crime drama follows a big-city cop who uncovers dark secrets in a seemingly idyllic town.
On the comedy front, Fox is introducing Universal Basic Guys, a new animated series about brothers navigating life with a universal basic income. The show premieres on Sunday, September 8th and has already been renewed for a second season.
While these new shows are generating buzz, Fox is also holding onto beloved series like The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, and Krapopolis for the fall. However, popular shows such as The Cleaning Lady, Family Guy, Animal Control, and MasterChef will return midseason.
